How to care for your jewelry
14k gold-filled is durable, but pearls are delicate. A few habits will keep your piece looking like new:
- Take it off before swimming in salt water, chlorine, or hot tubs.
- Store flat in the pouch it shipped in, away from other jewelry.
- Wipe gently with a soft dry cloth after wear.
- Apply lotion, perfume, and sunscreen before putting your piece on.
Made to last
Every piece is made by hand in small batches with 14k gold-filled metal and natural freshwater pearls — built to be worn for years. Because each order is made one at a time, we don’t offer returns or exchanges. But we stand behind every piece we make. If yours arrives damaged, email ivorytidess@gmail.com within 7 days with photos and your order number, and we’ll refund you in full once we get it back. If something breaks down the line — a clasp, a chain link, a pearl knot — email us anyway. We’ll work with you on a solution, whether that’s a repair, a replacement, or something else that makes it right. We want your Ivory Tides to last a lifetime.
What we can’t cover
- Normal wear and tear over time.
- Damage from chemicals, perfumes, lotions, or prolonged water exposure.
- Pieces that have been altered or repaired by someone else.
